Basic instructions for forwarding (setting up) email from your .tel domain to a .com (or other TLD) domain.

Locates your email server by name.

1) Via your browswer, login to your Hostgator Control Panel
2) click the Add-On domains icon
3) specify your domain and password and press [Add Domain].
4) If you don't know your mail server, via your browser, use DIG to find the MX record for your dot com (or whatever) domain ...

5) Copy the value(s) from the Dig display, for example here is my MX dump
6) Via your browser, login to your CTH control panel and select your domain.
7) Press Settings then Setup .tel email
8) Enter the Dig data for your domain (eg, ns2042.hostgator.com.) don't forget the ending period!
You could also enter the mail server itself, eg mail.yourdomain.com, if you know it.
9) Press [Save]
10) Send yourself a test email.
